Fish Stark is a child development expert and social entrepreneur with roots in Anne Arundel County. 


After studying under leaders in the child development field at Yale and Harvard, Fish has worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors developing new approaches to education that help children thrive, develop 21st century skills, and prepare for active citizenship. 


Fish's work has taken him around the world in partnership with organizations such as the Red Cross, the Aspen Institute, Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, Child Trends, state departments of education, and universities. He is currently the Head of Program & Curriculum at a California-based education technology startup that develops software that helps children build confident, resilience, and mental wellness, and was previously the Director of Programs at a global nonprofit organization that provided training and funding for young people in 140+ countries to lead service projects in their communities.


Fish holds a Master's in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's from Yale University with a certificate in Education Studies. Outside of work, he also serves on the Board of the International Bullying Prevention Association and is an award-winning stand-up comedian."
