Tara Fallon and her twin sister were born in Charlottesville, VA. Raised in a military family, she also lived in Virginia Beach, VA, Guantanmo Bay, Cuba, and finally in Annapolis, MD, with her Naval Officer Dad, her librarian Mom, and her two sisters. She attended schools from third through twelfth grades in Annapolis. Tara learned from an early age the importance of service and helping others, volunteering at nursing homes, Thanksgiving meal programs, and looking in on elderly citizens in her county. She also spent several summers as a counselor at a children’s summer camp.

Tara graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School, and attended Gettysburg College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in management and was a member of the cross-country team. Following graduation, she moved to New York City where she worked for several years in finance, met her husband, and had the first two of her three children. Following the birth of their second child the family moved to Rumson, NJ, where she, her husband, two daughters and son currently reside.

Tara believes it is important to instill in her own children the values of service, kindness, and generosity that she learned from her parents by setting an example for them. To that end she serves on her children's school parent council and is co-chair of the school's kindness committee. She became involved with Kindness Grows Here after her children were recipients of a kindness grant.

Now a stay-at-home Mom, Tara maintains a busy schedule with her service on school committees, shuttling her kids to school and to various after-school activities including numerous sports teams. She loves her family, her yellow lab, doing Pilates, running, and spending time at the beach. She strongly believes in spreading kindness in whatever she is doing, and looks forward to being part of the Kindness Grows Here organization and helping to carry out its important mission.
